Representatives of parents and teachers of all 4 merging schools meet with GCC to be briefed on timescales & were invited by the council to comment on all 6 submissions. Each design submission was annonimised

Deadline for tender submission from final 6 architect teams

Shortlist of 6 architect selected by GCC

Deadline for parents to comment of the proposals for catchments areas

 

23rd Feb 06 

Glasgow City Council approves the decision of the education committee to change catchments areas for Andeston, Dowanhill, Hillhead, Hyndland, and Kelvinhaugh

 

2nd Feb 06

Glasgow city council education services committee decision to build a new non-denominational school to replace Downhill, Hillhead, Kelvinhaugh, Willowbank Primaries and Dowanhill & Willow nurseries. The chosen site is Otago Street

Education Committee agreed to consult a number of proposals. Proposal J affected children currently attending Dowanhill, Hillhead, Kelvinhaugh, Oakgrove, & Willowbank Primary + Dowanhill and & Willows Nurseries
